Can I source tonewood pairs through Coala?
Yes, we are seeking supplies of quality Queensland tonewoods that we process locally and provide on-line information including: date of harvest and processing (where possible); high-resolution pictures showing grain and matched pairs; moister content (incluindg date/s of measurement).
What is the cost of matched pairs for acounstic giuitar builds?
This depends on a range of factors including the scarcity of the timber. Matched pairs will be offered as a full set (front, back and side) or in any other combination. Preference for supply (and build) is on matched backs and sides with tops provided separately.
How do I know what is available at any one time?
Coala’s web site will maintain an up to date record of timebers that are available for purchase either with direct collections from Sunshine Coast or via delivery.
